For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Website in Safari:

    • Launch the Safari browser on your iOS device.
    • Navigate to the website you want to install as a web app.

  2. Access the Share Menu:

    • Tap on the Share icon (a square with an upward-pointing arrow) at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select “Add to Home Screen”:

    • Scroll down and select the “Add to Home Screen” option from the list.

  4. Name the Web App:

    • A prompt will appear with a suggested name for the web app. You can edit this name if you wish.
    • Tap “Add” in the top right-hand corner.

  5. Confirm Installation:

    • The website will be added to your home screen, and you will see the icon appear among your apps.

  6. Launch the Web App:

    • Tap the new icon on your home screen to launch the website as a web app.
    • The web app will open in a standalone window without the browser interface, providing a more app-like experience.

 

For Android Devices

  1. Open the Website in Chrome:

    • Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.
    • Navigate to the website you want to install as a web app.

  2. Access the Menu:

    • Tap on the three-dot menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

  3. Select “Add to Home screen”:

    • From the drop-down menu, select “Add to Home screen”.

  4. Name the Web App:

    • A prompt will appear asking you to name the web app. Enter a name that you will recognize.
    • Tap “Add”.

  5. Confirm Installation:

    • Another prompt will ask for confirmation. Tap “Add” again.
    • The website will be added to your home screen, and you will see the icon appear among your apps.

  6. Launch the Web App:

    • Tap the new icon on your home screen to launch the website as a web app.
    • The web app will open in a standalone window without the browser interface, providing a more app-like experience.
