Jerry Howard, a distinguished executive mentor, respected author, and dynamic speaker, carries a rich and diverse professional journey. A proud veteran of the USMC, Jerry is the founder and guiding force behind iNTREPiD iMPACT Team, a comprehensive leadership coaching and business consulting agency. His expertise lies in Executive Performance Coaching, empowering leaders with tools to create high-performing, emotionally intelligent teams.
Beyond coaching, Jerry passionately guides business owners in strategy development and execution, aimed at business growth and capitalizing on industry opportunities. Jerry’s professional accomplishments are grounded in a deep-seated faith in God. His business principles and values are derived from and guided by the Word of God, which has become a solid foundation for his personal and professional endeavors.

Kay Congdon, president of Marked by Excellence, has more than two decades of leadership and mentoring experience, including service on numerous boards. She has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology and master’s degree in Strategic Human Resources Management, all from University of Richmond. She has her Professional Human Resources certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
Kay served six years on the Board of Directors for Safe Harbor, including Chair of their Personnel/Operations Committee. Safe Harbor is an organization that saves lives by providing education, advocacy, counseling, and shelter to break the cycle of domestic violence.
Kay also served on the board of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Richmond Chapter, where she served as the Chair of the Mentorship Committee and was instrumental in developing a mentorship relationship with Girl Scouts Commonwealth of Virginia, helping to identify and develop the next generation of women business leaders.
She has also served board leadership positions in other community organizations, such as Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia, Spence Leadership Network, and Second Baptist Church.
Kay started Marked by Excellence, LLC in May of 2009, finally putting into professional practice the art and science of connecting the dots between organizational structure and people dynamics.
Kay is a native Floridian but has lived in Richmond, VA for over 40 years. She has seven grandchildren: three granddaughters and one grandson in Charleston, SC, as well as two grandsons and one granddaughter in Richmond, VA.
Mark Thomas is on a mission to help others live with purpose and ultimate hope for their lives by knowing themselves to lead themselves. Trained as a minister, he has a unique 14-year background in communications, leadership, church planting, church growth, an evangelist, community partner specialist, and serves the marketplace as a 100X business coach.
Mark nearly died from three drug overdoses, but his life was saved through a miraculous chain of events. Now, he lives with ultimate hope and passion to lead others to their highest possible good. Mark lives a lifestyle speaking about the hope that people are searching for so that they will understand their deepest, most inner-self having the opportunity to experience ultimate hope for their lives.
Mark lives in the Richmond, VA area with his amazing wife of 18 years, who can attest to his true perseverance and tenacity. His “never give up” attitude and love for people fuels him as he teaches his clients, bringing true liberation to them. He is the founder and host of Evangelism On Fire Podcast, the pastor of Thrive Church Richmond location, and is the chaplain and team member of iNTREPiD iMPACT Team.
