Open the Website in Safari:
- Launch the Safari browser on your iOS device.
- Navigate to the website you want to install as a web app.
Access the Share Menu:
- Tap on the Share icon (a square with an upward-pointing arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
Select “Add to Home Screen”:
- Scroll down and select the “Add to Home Screen” option from the list.
Name the Web App:
- A prompt will appear with a suggested name for the web app. You can edit this name if you wish.
- Tap “Add” in the top right-hand corner.
Confirm Installation:
- The website will be added to your home screen, and you will see the icon appear among your apps.
Launch the Web App:
- Tap the new icon on your home screen to launch the website as a web app.
- The web app will open in a standalone window without the browser interface, providing a more app-like experience.

Open the Website in Chrome:
- Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.
- Navigate to the website you want to install as a web app.
Access the Menu:
- Tap on the three-dot menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Select “Add to Home screen”:
- From the drop-down menu, select “Add to Home screen”.
Name the Web App:
- A prompt will appear asking you to name the web app. Enter a name that you will recognize.
- Tap “Add”.
Confirm Installation:
- Another prompt will ask for confirmation. Tap “Add” again.
- The website will be added to your home screen, and you will see the icon appear among your apps.
